Purpose Is Doing All You Can Do

When looking for and pursuing your purpose in life ask yourself if you are doing all you can do. There are times when you will feel as though you are doing all you can do. If you feel that way, listen to yourself and don’t push to do more. However, some of us know we are not really doing all we can. There are things we know we should do and that we can do to better ourselves and to benefit others.

For those of us who know there is more we can do, the real work begins in finding out what we can do more of. Let’s say if we’re working a regular 9-5 job, perhaps we could start a business on the side. Doing something significant and productive outside of our normal life challenges us, pushes us, and causes us to see gaps that we can fill. The more we find to do that will make a positive contribution to the world in which we live, the more fulfilled we will feel and the more meaningful our lives will become.

There are many issues in society that are waiting to be solved. Look around you and find people you can contribute to; find causes that are important to you and step in to do what needs to be done. Look for opportunities to serve. Get involved with organizations that you are passionate about and that you care about. There is nothing more fulfilling and rewarding than when we follow our passions, serve others, and do what we can to make a difference in the world.
